Adidas Shoes: the Unique Collection
Adidas Ltd. is a German sports apparel manufacturer and part of the Adidas Group, which consists of Reebok Sportswear Company, TaylorMade-adidas Golf Company, and Rockport. Besides sports footwear, the company also produces other products such as bags, shirts, and other sports and clothing related goods. The company is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. Comfort, style and durability have all been a part of every pair of Adidas.
One of the earliest shoe manufacturing companies, ADIDAS started off in 1948, just before the end of the World War II. The history of the setting up of the company is a very interesting read.
Two brothers Adolf (“Adi”) Dassler and Rudolf (“Rudi”) Dassler started a shoe business 1924. Their business became a big success but not for a long time. They split up in 1948 with Adi forming Adidas and Rudi forming another shoe company.
The name Adidas is formed from "Adi" (a nickname for Adolf) and "Das" (from "Dassler").
Adidas provides a wide variety of products to customers worldwide. One of the main focuses of Adidas is football kit and associated equipment. Their football boots and team kits are widely used by top professional club teams. Adidas remain a major player in the supply of team kits for international football teams. Current examples include France, Germany, Greece, Romania, Japan and Israel. Adidas shoe support, helping you to avoid injury while still keeping you looking your best while in the game.
The company officially became the No. 1 driver in golf in 2005 and in 2008 Adidas made their first major move in cricket market. At present, Adidas has slowly crawled its way back up into the ranking of the top footwear manufacturers in the world. Adidas wants to reach the pinnacle of success. Costumer satisfaction is the main motive of the company.
