Some classic designs deserve a second go-around.  Puma’s Archive collection attempts to do just that.  It is a celebration, in a way, of the most distinctive, memorable Puma sneakers designed, worn and loved in the last forty years.  Most of these trusty veterans are linked to an equally impressive athletic talent (like the GV Special, which was worn by Guillermo Vilas in the late 70’s and early 80’s).  Check out below to get a glimpse of what is available.  After all, nothing beats a classic!

PUMA Women’s Roma Perf Sneaker.  The Roma Perf Sneaker comes from the PUMA Archive – Puma’s collection of vintage sneakers.  This particular version of the Puma sneaker hails from 1968.  But just because the Roma Perf is a blast from a past does not mean that it fails to provide first class orthopedic support.  In fact, the simplicity of the design is perfect for someone who is looking for a lightweight quality shoe that will not weigh your foot down with extra trinkets, gadgets and high-tech features.  The shoe sports a high quality genuine leather upper (good for breathability) and suede toe overlay.  Its tongue is padded, preventing irritation, and the shoe has built in arch supports.  This shoe is perfect for someone who wants a comfortable, supportive shoe that will accommodate an active lifestyle.

PUMA Roma Scooter.  The Roma sneaker was first introduced in 1968 and has now been updated so you get the best of both worlds: modern footwear technology that will keep your feet happy and totally chic vintage style.  In particular, watch out for the “reflector light” on the back of the Roma Scooter’s heel.  Uppers are made from high quality leather and suede materials available in black, coffee and regal red.
