When it comes to getting help in the kitchen, most of the time all you have to do is ask. Nearly everyone is happy to help in the kitchen, at least occasionally, if they think that they are wanted and can be of help. You family may just be avoiding helping you because they think they will be in the way. Give every member of the family a task to help prepare each meal.
