EA Sports has a lot of fresh things projected for FIFA Soccer 10, and while it's a awful staggeringly heavy list of styles and choices, most of the core conceptions were already at process in the construct I played now - which, by the way, shouldn't be too unique from the demonstration that's currently out. Everything from defending importunity to 360 grade dribbling, more physical touch as players fight for the ball, better AI and goaltending, smarter free kicks and fewer efforts were all in effect. There's also speak of a different Virtual Pro arrangement (admitting face mapping, an better career mode, and more), as well as a new My Live Season that covers over 13,000 information fields weekly for all games and player conditions in real-world soccer, and so much more. Since I didn't have excessively such time with the game - it was a open event, and games of soccer take quite a while to finish - I only got a brief chance to check out the new functionality in action. Quick play matches were exists provided for press, and within seconds of play it was looking that FIFA 2010 is doing good on a whole lot of promises. The player physicality is awful, showcasing more life and reality than I've found in any soccer game to date. Arms get involved, weighting is thrown around, and fights for the ball are strong, moving away from the conventional "defender touching = loss of control " and more towards trusted positioning and gritty soccer. Natural play also makes an appearance during mid-field hits (I circumstantially got out a teammate not with a slide tackle, but simply from running into them at full speed while covering a dribbler), and slide riggings feel extreme. It's not only a visually delicious upgrade, but it too makes field movement natural and authentic.
On the different side of the ball the new 360 grade dribble makes for some awful aggressive offense, and the fact that a rushing defender won't always have an equal chance at up and catching the ball (it's more placed on angle, speed, position, and straight-up player skill) the field feels more open, and the list of choices on offence increases because of it. Natural play is greatly developed, AI seems better from what I personally witnessed, and soccer lovers are going to be able to experience the difference the second they step out on the field.
